AU lost to a highly ranked team, UGA lost to an unranked team. Can anyone explain this beyond "I hate AU"?

Just being real. However, I did not see them beating KU, UNC, & UK. So, there is that. I want them to win it all just because they are a bunch of mutts. I love that. Harkens back to Villanova beating Georgetown and NCSt. beating Houston.

Ah, well...No one can take it away from them that they are the first team from the state to get to the Final Four. I was very suspect that they could beat Virginia at full strength. Having key people with an illness kind of cements it.

I think CBP still loves everything about UT and the area. He made a mistake, and unlike most, owned it. It is a shame for UT that they had to fire him for it. I am forever grateful that AU took a chance and hired him after his show cause was gone. In the pantheon of digressions, I think his was way down the list. He did own it, though. He will always have his antics and achievements at UT. I think the Final Four puts his legacy squarely at AU. He did a lot of good at UT. He got to the FF at AU. He has never ever shown anything but love to the UT faithful and I hope those fans are cheering for him in the FF.

My wife had a bracket that has AU winning it all. She doesn't follow BB, but thought it would be nice. I told her there was no way that AU could run that gauntlet and get even to the final four, (I assummed that KU, UNC, & UK would all advance.). She said, well...I'm picking who I am picking.

Congrats UA fans. I think he will be a good one. As I said, You don't usually win by winning the press conference, (Saban and Pearl excluded.), you win by getting the right guy.

Speaking as an AU fan. We want you to have a good coach. Not a great coach. We want you in the tourny and doing well enough that the football fans don't cause a stir like they are this year with your major rivals doing well. Unlike football, I don't want your team out of it or doing poorly.
(Not great, but just good enough.)
