Remember...he did play Texas in Austin when he was with Texas Tech...so he wasn't just limited to playing them in Dallas.

Cant wait for texas and OU to have to play a real conference schedule. Easy to get up for one or two games in a season and not got worn down. Pain is coming.

I'm looking forward to UT & OU coming in. Huge followings and good tailgating....TBH they'll probably have a transition period on the gridiron, but in this league trial by fire is the only option. I think they'll get competitive.

Texas had a harder strength of schedule than all but 2 SEC teams this year

That’s not just the high school class. That’s all portal additions too, and OU lost like 50 something players in 2021 and 22

4 SEC teams ahead of Texas

3 SEC teams ahead of Texas

And of the 3-4 SEC schools with tougher competition 3 finished with
Atleast 3 more wins than Texas. The other finished with 2 more wins. And somehow in the mind of a Texan this translates into Texas isn’t going see it’s mediocre program decline even more? TAMU with the test team more could buy at the time couldn’t even make it to bowl eligibility last year in the SEC but an average at best Texas is going to run with the big boys?

Bitch please.

before bowl season

You know... when you actually have control of the schedule?

And your response to me refuting Texas had any easy schedule was posting links that still show Texas had a harder schedule than 75% of the SEC? No wonder one UT has such a higher academic reputation than the other lol

Lol coming from a Tennessee fan, who just watched his team finish a season with less than 4 losses for the first time since 2004 Texas played for 2 national titles in that span, squirt

That awkward moment when you realize Tennessee hasn't beat Texas in any men's big 3 sport since 2012

Bitch please.

Oh, the game where Texas blew out Tech 41-16?

And you're comparing it to a 31-24 game, where Oklahoma was down 17-3 heading into the 4th, and came back to win in 2OT? Yeah, a real head scratcher on why he might have that opinion.

"Oh yea! Well... this guy said it's harder to play at a place where he won than it is at a place where he lost by more than 3 touchdowns!!!"

That post has to be the most quintessential SEC display of intelligence I have ever seen

Baker is also on record saying the cotton bowl was the loudest place he's played in college, and that's with only half of the crowd being from Texas

Texas is a red state. That makes them more of a SEC school than Georgia!

That would have been 12 10 year win seasons in the Big12.

Since the beginning of the 1990s, Tennessee is 2-6 against big 12 teams

I went to the Texas vs TCU game in Austin. My niece got mad at me the whole time becuz I kept comparing the experience to LSU. It was a very nice experience but it is not Death Valley let there be no mistake.

No one here actually believes that. You’ll learn.
