It's a long article from a couple of days ago. This stood out to me. Sounds sweet as hell

Making Over Dudy Noble Field: A Two-Year Project

https://ballparkdigest.com/2018/01/26/making-over-dudy-noble-field-a-two-year-project/

Another new addition will be the Left Field Lofts, two-bedroom condos that overlook the field.

“We’re doing 12 units now with a pad for another 12. We’ll start construction for those in March with the first 12 units ready for the 2019 season. I believe they’ve sold 75 percent of them. Sales are going great and we’re excited for them,” Boerner said. “It also has a rooftop terrace that will be a premium space for parties and fans. I believe the capacity will be for 320 people with spectacular views looking over the stadium.”

It's going to be awesome. Unfortunately have you seen how many recruits we lost to the draft? Canny rolled the dice but it didn't come out so well. Lsu will still be the team to beat and Vandy and Florida are gonna be damn salty.

Gonna be big (different recent article). Click link for full article. Here are the highlights

JESCO Inc. Builds New $55M Baseball Stadium for Mississippi State University

JANUARY 15, 2018
IRWIN RAPOPORT

LINK

It will be the finest stadium in college baseball,” said Andrew Piper, assistant director of communications, Mississippi State Athletics. “The new stadium features Diamond Suites, Omaha Club Level and loge seating, a field level club titled 'The Backstop,' and apartment-style Left Field Lofts. The expanded capacity was planned to allow MSU to continue to host the largest crowds in college baseball. The new grandstand will hold more fans than the current one, the berm seating down each line will allow for greater general admission seating, and the outfield should accommodate the same number of fans, if not more.

How so? By building a better stadium? Dumb comment.

The lower level of the grandstand, right field berms, and outfield seating will be ready mid-spring. The left field berm, upper tier grandstand and boxes, and lofts will be completed by next season.

It's going to be a great stadium in every respect. State baseball fans deserve it. I look forward to being in the new DN in 2019 for the LSU series.

I wouldn’t say they are going to force out fans, but I don’t think this new stadium is going to have the same atmosphere.

You're right, it's going to be better with the new park.

You might be right, but I went to a Series a couple years ago and it was awesome. The guys that we were watching the game with (state fans) were not happy about the new stadium plans.

Reading that "Canny rolled the dice" with his recruiting reminds me of Turtle Thomas's days at LSU. Year after year he would get signed commitments from elite players around the country & come time for classes in the Fall, more that half would have signed with the pros. His rolling of the dice finally caught up with him & LSU baseball paid the price. AC's value will be determined when he's been there for at least 5 years & it can be said he had all his players. A large part of his resume' todate has LSU written across his jersey.

That will change when the see it. The sheer size and scope of this stadium are going to be unlike anything in college baseball

It won't be the same. It will be much, much better. No one likes change, but when the guys you were with get inside the new stadium they will be happy.

It is a little sad that we will only see all the homemade rigs in photographs in the future, but the new outfield is going to be amazing....and intimidating to visiting players.
