Nope. Mett just finally hit the open the receivers and the receivers finally hung on to the ball when he did. That has been the problem all year, including at A&M.

JM will probably have around 190 passing/50 rushing. I think the Aggies could be the first team to get to 20 pts on Bama this year. I also think Bama hits their avg ppg at 38

Good post. If JFF has less than 200 passing and <50 rushing then Ags offense is not staying on the field nearly long enough.

Bama size and speed on offense will take a toll and then your prediction of 38 - 20 is very likely to happen.

Ags have to run 70+ plays of offense to have a good chance.

This is how I see it. I think A&M might score more points than anyone has against Bama this season, so I think the Bama offense will actually have to win a relatively high scoring game (I'm talking the offense may actually have to score 24+ to win, which is basically unheard of for Alabama). However, I don't think Alabama will have trouble scoring that many. I think this will be a solid two score victory for Alabama.

Jm is a freshmen, traveling on the road against a #1 ranked bama defense. Get real.

I hope that bama thinks this, too... but I know Saban probably won't allow them to.

I don't think I've seen or heard a single Aggie "trashing bama". But whatever gets you riled up.

Damn you Bama and LSU fans must really be scared. "A&M fans saying they have a puncher's chance against Bama=Trashing Bama."

A&M fans are actually trying to have some football discussion but Bama and their insecure butt buddies LSU (who cannot fathom a world where they lose to Bama and A&M wins) are relying on the "Bama goin' rape you!" argument.

Bama should win. They are solid double digit favorites. Upsets do happen though. I'm just not sure who would be more mad if that happens, the folks in Tuscaloosa or BR.

He was already a freshman who played the #2 defense(*). He didn't do too shabby in that one, fix a few problems and anything is possible.

(*) Must be going by SEC stats. FSU is the #1 defense currently.

I'm loving the A&M trash-talking. They are taking A LOT of optimism from Alabama's close win over LSU. It's like they don't know anything about match-ups, rivalries (yes, I said it), and home field advantage. LSU came off a bye week, played a hell of game with its hair on fire in one the most impressively hostile environments I have ever seen, AND it has the talent across the roster to match up with Alabama's style of play. Texas A&M won't really have any of this going for it this Saturday.

Texas A&M is good, and Manziel is good, but they don't matchup with Alabama like LSU did (nobody in the country does really).

+1 WEll said elposter. Thanks for the props.
And I tell you what, a lot of people were (seriously or not) saying Alabama was comparable to a pro team prior to 11/3. But that fricking GAME was like a pro game! It was a war.....

This thread is BS. Any real football fan respects the hell out of Bama and rightfully so.

Ags are pumped about the opportunity and I haven't seen one thread about A&M taking Bama behind the woodshed.

A&M is like the new kid on the block. He wants and tries to be tuff, but at the end of the day, he is still just the new kid.

Have to give them a little great though, they are fitting in much better in the SEC then I ever thought they would

Bama = red apples. LSU = green apples. A&M = oranges.
NOBODY knows what to expect this weekend. Two totally different styles collide. It could honestly be a blowout either way. I can't wait to see it played out on the field.

The Aggys just don't realize that Mett was a sleeping giant that everyone in the SEC was praying would stay asleep.

Anyone who had watched our offense and truly looked at it from a neutral perspective could see that we were close. Against UF the recievers were dropping it all over the place. USC we got conservative in the redzone. TAMU Mett overthrew it. He has always had the talent just needed a bye week to get his head straight and confidence back.

As for TAMU yall have the coach and offense to put points up on the board and pull off the upset. Will it happen? Who knows. I doubt it but Im gonna be yelling gig em all saturday

You boys in Texas do a lot of things well. Brisket, for example. My chicken and ribs are top notch, but my brisket still needs some work. Also, I like some of the hunting out there. And gun control laws, hell Texas sounds like a pretty good place.

But this is our house, and I think the boys will be more than ready to shake off the close call in BR and show you boys that it takes more than a "yell crew" and a squirrelly QB to beat the Tide.

Welcome to the SEC, sincerely. And welcome to Tuscaloosa. Hope you enjoy your trip. Go to the Quad and have some beers and food, I bet you'll enjoy yourself. Our fans are nice, for the most part.

Just don't be a douche or a weirdo.

Here's to an injury-free game.

What is scary to me is the amount of LSU fans supporting Bama against this wave of A&M BS..

It's really not if you think about it.

It's sort of an 'enemy you know' kind of thing between LSU and 'Bama, and not all LSU fans hate 'Bama or their fans.

A&M is sort of like the new kid who comes in, acts obnoxious, gets his arse beaten, runs off to recuperate then comes back and starts acting obnoxious again.
