The 2 players arrested for anything remotely serious were immediately dismissed from the team. This is hilarious coming from an LSU fan, who just had a player arrested for battery and last year had a head coach abdicate his responsibility and put it up to a player vote (wonder which way that would go...) whether to reinstate a guy who's assault video went viral. But whatever, it's all good. :cheers:

Those that think this is just a ploy for Johnson aren't paying attention. We already lead for the #1 CB in TX, who is a likely 5-star, and we haven't even offered the 2nd rated CB yet, who we also lead for. No way would we offer and accept a commitment at this point if we didn't really want him.

First off, I think it's 50/50 chance at A&M/LSU. I don't think USC or UF is realistic. Secondly I think he likes A&M because we offered him a long time ago, and he can see that he would kill it in our offense, especially compared to LSU's offense. Lastly, we aren't taking many WRs at all this year, and he would definitely be the premier wideout in our class. I think Noel Ellis is just a small bonus, but not a big connection, considering Frank Wilson is his uncle.

He told a reporter on one of our sites that he had a top 2 of A&M and USC and that was it. He later decided to release a top 3 and that's when he added UF. So maybe he likes UF but not at the top of his list, or maybe he's just trolling LSU fans...

I don't think any A&M fans think LSU isn't a threat to a top Louisiana player. It's not like we're new to the recruiting game there.

Here's Harvey's stats from last weekend's playoff game:Lancaster ATH Nick Harvey (A&M) - 2 carries for 86 yards; 7 receptions for 74 yard; 1 INT in a 36-29 win over Prosper.

They didn't throw to his side the entire game until the end when he intercepted the ball in the end zone.

Rivals has them ranked: 1. Scott, 2. Harvey, 3. Brown. All of those guys are studs, Paris included. I think we have a good shot at all of those players. I've seen Harvey a lot and think he is very special. People I know who scout football players for a living and has seen most of the top end talent in Texas think he very well may be the best player in Texas. They are only juniors so of course any of them could become better as they mature. I'm just giving my opinion as it stands today. Isn't that what message boards are for?
