There has never been and never will be a season where there are 16 teams worthy of being in the playoff. I honestly think there are seasons where there aren’t 8 that are worthy.

Nah - BCS was awesome except for one or two teams that clearly deserved to be in the mix were left out every year.
4-team playoff fixed that.
I can't think of a single year since the CFP that a team that was clearly in the top echelon of teams was left out of the CFP.
A&M isn't even close to the same tier as Bama/Clemson this year.

2 things. Does the NFL only play 12 games a year? And is the regular season in the NFL nearly as exciting as CFB?

6 is enough most seasons. That being said, I think the best team has won every year so it's still working

I'm saying it doesn't work. I'm saying I prefer the FBS system to the NFL system. I don't enjoy watching a 9-7 team win the Super Bowl. I enjoy watching 14-0 whoever play 13-1 whoever as the two best teams in college football.
