What I do not get is why a RUN RULE in the playoffs?
1.) its 16-7, Florida scored 7 in the first 2 innings, so they could get 8 in the last 2, this was put in to not embarrass bad teams, its the playoffs, teams want to go down swinging.
2.) Its an advantage for for team A who is ahead of team B lets say in a World Series match up, or even in the regionals, because they have a pitcher who threw only 5 innings, so their next opponent gets disadvantaged.
I can see regular season, but when it gets to post season, full games should be played.

Congrats Miss state . You were the one sec team i knew was better than record and was going to be a problem for someone. We didnt have the pitching this year to win it all . If it had to be someone to beat us glad it was you guys ! Your coach is a good one . I know she’s pretty loyal but you can bet teams will be making a run on her !

Thank you. Coach Ricketts learned from the best. I like her postgame commentary. After losses she never throws our players under the bus. In fact she will usually spotlight what we did well. And then most likely does her corrections in practice out of the limelight.
We have plenty of financial resources so she will be compensated well after this run. Eventually I am sure she will leave but hopefully we can hang on to her a few more years.
