But what if he was a new head coach AND he was wasted on wild turkey?

Does this mean Fulmer is now #2 on the snitch list and Dabo has moved to #1?

Pete drunk texting a signed player at 9am is pretty hilarious. Ole Miss needs to start interviewing coaches NOW.

Are they going to force Luke to go back to Clemson?

If not, then who cares.

No. They just want Ole Miss (as an institution) to be held accountable for the tampering. (Sanctions.)

I saw a fan of a neutral school make a good suggestion. Let him stay at Ole Miss, but make him ineligible for 2026.

Then he files a lawsuit against the NCAA for levying a punishment that did not exist in the rules at the time causing missed NIL, Ole Miss co-files, the NCAA loses another case in court and eats another few million in court fees.

It's a level 2 violation. Suspend the coach a game and reduce an official visitor count by 1 or 2 and move on.

You're likely right.

If the NCAA finds the Rebels guilty of contacting Ferrelli while he was enrolled at Clemson, that would likely result in a Level II recruiting violation for Ole Miss, per NCAA rules. If it's discovered that Ferrelli was offered money to leave the Tigers for the Rebels, as Swinney says he has proof, there's a chance Ole Miss could get hit with a more severe Level I violation.

Under a Level I designation relating to illegal benefits, NCAA rules determine that as a "cash payment or other benefits provided by a coach, administrator or representative of the institution's athletics interests intended to secure, or which resulted in, enrollment of a prospective student-athlete."

Since money was involved it is a Level 1, and wouldn't that make Ole Miss eligible for rePete offender? They were hit with 33 level 1 violations last time.
