A bit of bad news out of College Station: as suspected, Aiden Sims is done for the year. We might be able to piece it together tomorrow, but if we do, we will have almost no shot at winning the super.

I have no clue what they're gonna do in Tallahassee. They've not even finished the 3rd game and it looks like rain again today.

Congrats to the remaining SEC teams....looks like A&M's potential run this year is over. If we get through this regional we are down to two inconsistent starters.
Truly incredible how the injuries have plagued this year. I guess we will have to score 10-15 runs a game.

They just announced we’ve lost Sims for the rest of the season, was 8-1 for the year and they made the decision while he was warming up last night

Wow. I knew it but didn’t think they would take the hit. Let the kid pitch a couple, as I’ve seen throughout the years … I think Earley has a lot of growing to do but heart is in the right place. It will be PBC the rest of the year if we get out of this Regional.

I believe they hoped to use him in relief. I’m glad they didn’t because kid has promise and needs to fully heal
