He has won more NCAA Tournament games than Will Wade.

What do you think about that?

Either way, I don't see y'all sniffing around Oats...he doesn't fit Kentucky's style.

The key will be does he want to be at a blue blood one day or second fiddle to bama football
If so it will cost them so smart move by bama

Some big jobs will open in the next 5 years
K, Roy Williams, boeheim, Izzo are all close to end
Does Miller survive at Arizona
Does self survive at Kansas
Does Wright ever go to nba
Calipari has lifetime contract

I think brad stevens comes back to college at some point

These are the main ones that would make me worry - Syracuse and Michigan State. Michigan State especially, because Izzo likes him a lot and Oats has connections there from his days in Detroit and growing up in that part of the country.

Either way, if the guy creates something that makes him attractive enough for Michigan State/Syracuse to pursue, he's set things up for the next guy and I'll tip my cap.

Amen!
And if money becomes an issue, I suspect that Alabama will/can make another school pay DEARLY for his services.

Nate Oats is overrated.

He has a senior led team. His success will be short lived. One hit wonder.

Alabama is one of those perfect jobs in college basketball.

There aren't expectations of Final Fours every year.

You can makes ton of money. I'd imagine $3.5 million puts him in the top 10.

The practice facilities, amenities and offices are some of the nicest in the country.

They're about to build a new $115 million arena in the middle of the current facilities.
But will probably play in the new $120 million BJCC arena in Birmingham while it gets built.

He'll return Quinerly, Shackelford, Gary, Primo, and Ellis (plus KAH and Miles stepping in) next year - that's 65% of our production. Oh, and we add the best high school point guard in the country to the mix.

I'm guessing we'll be ok.

Wouldn’t it be a multiple hit wonder since he did the same thing at Buffalo?

He’s won the MAC three times, been named Coach of the Year twice, and is about two games away from winning an SEC Championship, dumbass.

Nate Oats is a great coach, but he's winning with a bunch of upperclassmen. I'm intrigued to see what he can do with freshman next season.

LSU basketball sucks. That earns you an extension ? Dumb move. At least wait to see what he does in the tournament.
