I went and saw him at Red Rocks. He’s excellent. His dad opened for him and is just as funny.

Check out the two videos I linked above.
The general consensus on the MTB is that he essentially wrote both (as a stand-up comedian himself), so it'll probably give you a quick taste of his style.

At least it's not some random rapper.

He has a few specials on Netflix. As someone else said, it’s really “clean” humor.

The last comedian I gave a shot to listening to his stand up was Eric André bc I thought his movie on Netflix, Bad Trip, was hilarious. His standup was a 3 on a 10 point scale unfortunately. Way better comedic actor vs stand up comic.

Nate has been around for 20 years, he is not new. He blew up during Covid when he did a Netflix special outside that blew the lid off Netflix's ratings. Now, he sells out arenas.
He is a storyteller comedian that is taking advantage of the SNL limelight trying to get his name out there to be more mainstream but to say he wasn't already famous is crazy. Most famous entertainer ever? No, he ain't Elvis.
I listen Dana Carvey and David Spades' podcast called "Fly on the Wall. Nate was on the latest episode. It's about an hour long interview for one guest and you have to have some sort of tie to SNL for them to put you on. I found it very interesting.

I think Nate is hilarious. For one thing because his comedy is relatable to a middle aged white guy like me who grew up in the conservative south.
Different style than Louis CK, Bill Burr, etc. All of them are funny.

Have tickets to see him in Birmingham next Spring. He's hilarious. Kind of a southern fried Seinfeld with his observational comedy

They can’t find one successful, famous person who went to Bama? That is sad.

And his stuff is better than their stuff today. Now when they were in their prime, probably not.

Have been seeing his shows, starting at Zanies and then at The Ryman for 10+ years. He’s hilarious. Very nice guy that deserves all the success he’s getting now.
