Depends what you mean. Players coached under Les usually did better in the NFL than players coached under Saban, and playing college football basically is their job training.

This board made fun of us for not wanting to keep the first 2 coaches mentioned

I just look at all of the talent he had from 2005-2016 and couldn't win crap. What really made me think of this is watch RS playing for Tampa Bay. It's amazing what a little bit of competent coaching and talent evaluation will do.

It's rivalry week, LSU has lost 4 games this season, and the whole of the SECR is still sucking that tiger dick.

shite, the tiger is dead. That's a new level of fricked up for SEC fans.

It was just QBs, every time you had a decent QB LSU finished no worse than top 10. Saban can't even win with a bad QB. Coker was still above average and then he played like McCarron in the playoffs.

Richt. Maybe not more talent but he is definitely high on the list.

SOS. Ridiculously talented teams throughout the 90's and only one NC to show for it.

He won a national title. He had the best team in football in his division. It isn't like he had the most talented team every year.

Houston Nutt.

Not only did he squander talent, he couldn't put them in their proper position to utilize their talent while causing players to regress under his teaching.

Jason Peters playing TE is a classic example.

BORING!!! Let's do all five power conferences.

SEC - Auburn (Tommy Tuberville) Mark Richt picked up where he left off...
Big 12 - OU (Bob Stoops post 2001)
Big 10 - OSU (Jim Tressel)
PAC 10/12 - Oregon (Any Coach here)
ACC - VT (Frank Beamer)
