Kick Six game, McCarron threw a 99 yd TD pass

Also, back to back 4th down stops by both defenses. Some really good plays forgotten due to the ending.

The whole game was a great game. It just gets overshadowed by the crazy ending.

There was an administrative timeout called during the AFC championship game last week. The explanation given was there was a drone flying nearby. The true reason was Tay-Tay had to tee tee and she didn’t want to miss any of the game. The NFL called a time out to accommodate her.

I guess they don't teach punctuation and capitalization in Clemson...

I had to rooting interest in the game but the 5th down game haunts me to this day. If I was a coach I don’t know what I would’ve done but I think I would physically stop the play from happening somehow

Hell yes, he should have run out on the field and grabbed the freaking football

3 Bama WRs caught TDs in the 2015, and 2016 SECCGs. Those WRs were Ardarius Stewart, Richard Mullaney, and Greg Dieter.

Brad Wing calling his own number and taking a fake punt 40+ yards to the house, only for it to be called back because he celebrated before the end zone.

Im sure its happened since but this is the only time I can recall a touchdown being taken off the board for this.

In 1999 Alabama beat Florida in Gainesville 40-39 in overtime.

We missed the game winning extra point, but Florida was offsides. The retry barely snuck inside the upright.

In 2008, Mississippi State beat Alabama in overtime of the SEC tournament. Alabama made a 3 at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. During the overtime period, a tornado hit the Georgia dome. Had the game ended in regulation, it’s very likely that a large crowd would have been outside and in harms way during the event. The game was lost, but lives were potentially saved

Didn't Texas do the same thing with UCLA too?

No melt on my part, nothing compared to the melt on display when someone says that a team making a first down in a tight game when going for it on 4th down had no impact on the game. Everyone knows that momentum is a non-factor in college football. Every knowledgeable fan knows this is the case...never in the history of college football has a shift in momentum ever had an impact on the outcome of a college football game...

I bet you think injuries don't matter either, huh?

Arkansas has never played in a big football game.

they might not have won them but they played in a couple during the 60s

1966 Cotton Bowl #2 Arkansas vs LSU (#1 Michigan State lost in the Rose) An Arkansas victory earns them the National Championship.

1969 #1 Texas vs #2 Arkansas "Game of the Century" Nixon established as the National Championship game.
That game had a television 74 share, which remains as of the highest TV rating in American football history, college or professional.

The 10rc game when Stoerner fumbled defined his career. No one remembers that the next year he threw a last minute touchdown pass to Lucas to win the game against them the next year.

Some things just can’t be overcome.

This game has been nicknamed "Dixie's Last Stand", since it was the last major American sporting event played between two all-white teams. However, major college football was not completely integrated until 1972 when the final holdouts, Brigham Young, LSU and Ole Miss, fielded their first black varsity members.

I'd like to see a link to this simply because the 1971 Thanksgiving Nebraska-Oklahoma "GOTC" makes pretty much the same claim except it is always "the most viewers ever" at 55 million.

He said big game.

In LSU’s first game after its 2003 NC they hosted Or St in Tiger Stadium. Oregon State’s freshman kicker missed all 3 extra points in the game including one that would have sent the game to double OT thus losing 22-21. Alex Serna would finish that season as a Lou Groza Award finalist then winning it in 2005. He finished his career for the Beavers by making 144 of 147 PAT’s.

Every time I see a piggy starting a thread here Willie Nelson's "always on my mind" starts playing in my head. Strange isn't it?

Of course your head is too full of Longhorns to have any room for music, and that's kinda sad. Ahh well, at least there's no rent where we live.

One thread that mentions your team and you get sensitive about it? Just be glad it’s not about your dildos and such.

Now THAT is some Louisiana voodoo at it's finest.
