Skip Bertman single-handedly not only created the equivalent of what Alabama was to college football, at LSu in college baseball but as a result of his success other sec schools began taking college baseball seriously as well.

His UK teams were a lot of fun to watch. I know he was a bit of a pariah, but that dude can coach. Looking forward to seeing what he can do at SJU.

Nick Saban. Honestly, do have a lot of respect for him.
Thought his Vegas moneyline crap for playoff resume was stupid crap. Not so much before they chose the teams, but bringing it up again in the summer after the season was over was just ridiculous.
But other than that, thought he was a good ambassador for the game and is the GOAT.
Bob Stoops. Outside of his problems with "SEC bias", thought he ran a really good program and seems to be a good person from a good family.

Says the alter. You are the guilty dog barking first.
Are you one of Metry/Mulkey/Snitch many accounts, or are you just another snitching cunt?

He had a very impressive coaching tree as well that included:
Barry Switzer, Johnny Majors, Joe Gibbs, Hayden Fry, and Jimmy Johnson.

Steve Spurrier. Witty, unfailingly honest, and a hell of a coach.
Mark Richt - Seemed to be a genuinely good guy. Lots of respect for he and his wife establishing the U network to help former players.

Ryan Day because he saved a young mans life (Harry Miller) who suffered from a severe mental illness.

Not quite. Ron Polk is the grandfather of SEC baseball and Bertman saw what he did at State in the late 70’s-mid 80’s and duplicated it at LSU and then took it to another level the 1990’s. Great amount of respect for Skip Bertman. Great coach and man but he did not do it single handily.
Polk and then later Bertman caused the rest of the SEC to make college baseball a major priority and the conference is much the better for it today.
