And before you Texas fans say we've got more money, that's true, but it's not about how much you have. It's about how much you're willing to spend, and I promise you Alabama is willing to spend more. That's why you were never able to hire Saban away from them in the first place. Alabama will go with the same "we're only hiring him if he was one of Bear's boys" mindset that caused them to wander in the wilderness for years post Bryant.

Sark would be a dumb hire. They could get him, but it would be expensive, and his career is super pedestrian.

I think they should get Lanning or Ryans.

You want those things to happen because you have a dud-arse coach but the reality is it’s DeBoer or Lanning.

If Bama wants to spend $15 million on Sark, have at it.

I don't think Bama can spend more money than Texas, but IF Sark were to leave, I think it would be because of how much the money coffers love to meddle and have a "say so". Look at Texas, aTm.......hell , look at Jerry Jones and Dallas. Texans have plenty of money, but they think they can run something better than the person they hired to do the job. That is the only shot we have at getting Sark.

I don’t often agree with Whorn fans but this is spot on.

Go and set the market. See what happens
