The future OU North Campus where there are already shops and restaurants.
Campus Corner itself on OU’s campus.
The National Weather Center - Storm Prediction Center
Riverwind Casino and Goldsby Gaming Center
Like one said earlier, Norman is practically a suburb of Oklahoma City. The north side of Norman and Downtown OKC are less than 30 minutes apart.
If you go to downtown OKC, do visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial (1995 bombing). It’s a somber scene.
Chickasaw Nation Bricktown Ballpark for hopefully a MiLB game.
We have the new OKC Streetcar system so it can take you through downtown and Bricktown. Plenty of shops, restaurants, entertainment.
You can also see the Riversport complex where a portion of the 2028 Summer Olympics will take place.
There are many more things to list but you will have a great time.
One said earlier about Tarahumara’s Mexican Food. Damn good and are fast with service.

If your out partying in OKC please stay away from the bombing memorial it's a place you don't screw around at or you might be visiting the level 1 trauma center at OU Medical Center down the road.

You might take in the new softball stadium (Love's Field). If any of your kids like softball.
Very nice spot. Largest college SB stadium.

No matter what you do, don’t get a haircut while you are there.

Thanks all! Sounds like lots of cool stuff to see and do.
Since I’m new here, I wanted to give two random thoughts for you OU folks:
1) The OU/Oregon onside kick was the worst call I’ve ever seen in any sport hands down. How can that possibly missed by the replay booth? I was fuming after that game, I can’t imagine how y’all were feeling.
2) Drinkwitz has always kind of reminded me of a pudgy Billy Tubbs.

Go to Sugars on Campus Corner.
Campus Corner is their downtown, great bars. OKC is 20 minutes north and has fun bars/district. Not sure if the new casino resort will be built by then.

No it isn't. Campus Corner is Campus Corner. Downtown is downtown.
Just like the Strip isn't "downtown" in Stillwater.... and downtown is downtown in Stillwater.
For SEC peeps probably the most similar situation to Norman is Alabama.
In Tuscaloosa you have "The Strip" and a few blocks further west is Downtown. Norman is kind of like that. Except in Norman Campus Corner is separated from Downtown by the Church District.
You can conveniently repent for your excessive parting on Campus corner while you are on your way to drink downtown.

Tarahumara's is some of the best Mexican food you’ll ever eat. Get the pork fajitas.
This is quite the hyperbole. Mexican food truck a couple blocks down the street on Porter is better but you do you.

Stay at The Noun if you can. easy walk to campus and Campus Corner.
What kind of food does your family like? There are some good tex-mex restaurants in Norman, but tons of good Asian too.
If you want BBQ, try Ray's on Lindsey street. It's in an old Pizza Hut building, so you know it's good.

You're trying to make me jump in my truck and drive the 30 minutes just to show you on video. But why would I do that for some retard argument on the internet when I know I'm right because I freaking live here.
