This is with Tennessee having the worst run in program history over the last 15 years. Some of you really don't realize how good our program was and could be again.

Not so fast my friend! Tennessee has no instate talent. And college freshman have only known Tennessee as Vandy’s competitive rival.

That is the thread Nebraska holds onto. And I am pretty sure most people know how good Tennessee "was", just like people know Michigan won more than half a championship before the Truman administration.

It's strange what has happened to these programs.

Even Michigan, they were on par with UT/Arky last season just played in a weak arse conference.

Frost is now 15-29 in Lincoln and has never had a winning season there. If he face plants again this season & gets canned, it's hard seeing them ever recover, will be 40 years in the wilderness.

Is what Neyland did 100 years ago really indicative of your programs potential today?

Penn state is the most overlooked program as far as national relevence in here. I know the demographics of this website and they don't really pay attention to things before they were born but from the 70-90's the Nittany Lions were a force in college ball.

Won the national title in 82 and 86 and went unbeaten in 73 and could have won it in 69 but the Prez and the polls gave it to texas after the "game of the century" with arkie when the national champ was crowned after the last regular season game.

With the arrogance that aggie posters carry themselves with around this site, you'd think they've at least played for some kind of semi-final in the big 3 men's sports since Hitler invaded Poland

Penn State is also the program that overlooked the most sexual transgressions against little boys in their locker room.

Frick those Pedo-enabling Cult members.

Also about Penn State

LINK

"When Jerry Sandusky’s crimes came to light, the world thought it was the first time Joe Paterno and Penn State had faced a serial sexual predator in their midst."

It is a long article

Now double it and throw in only 3 or 4 winning seasons in that span and you will know what a bad run is. Post WWII for A&M was absolutely putrid until the mid 70s.
