We were rolling after a 3 to go up 14 or something and than right after that refs call 10 straight fouls - get Ament out of the game on BS.

Only thing saving us currently from this screw job and missed FT's for them. Lets hope that continues

Sports aside this is tragic. Has a wife, 4 year old son, and a baby on the way. Prayers to the Rucker family, his friends, and most importantly his wife. She is going to have to pick up the pieces and be strong for the kids when she herself needs support. God have mercy on them - this is awful.

I will never understand why Rick Barnes REFUSES to call a timeout.... Miss st just went on a fricking 18-0 run (which is absolutely pathetic with how bad that team is) and Rick just lets it happen without trying to call a timeout to pause the momentum. I actually believe the rumors of our guys betting on games now.

Lane Kiffin can tweet or say what he wants and act like he is happy but right now he is sick on the inside watching Ole Miss make this run. I know he gets a bonus but he is already rich so that doesn't matter nearly as much as him having to watch his team do this without him.

As a Tennessee fan I could not be more happy to see Joey Freshwater reap what he sowed.

Dude no one cares if it is not playoffs. Bowl games are meaningless and SEC schools typically have more "opt outs" because we have the most NFL prospects. Tenn has 6 starters opt out for todays game - IL has everyone playing. Playoff record is all we should be looking at measuring conferences.

Outside of last season (defense was solid and got us to the CFP only because of the NFL guys we had) our defense under banks has been terrible,

To your question - the question you're asking is the same question all of our fans are asking which is why we are frustrated with Heupel - if he can't fire his assistants (friends) and hire what is needed to field a competent defense - it will be his fat arse that gets fired.
