Any Auburn LSU game from early 2000s

This is the correct answer. That 2004 game was an absolute war. 2006 it was so physical that we kind of wore out at the end of the year. We could have had one of the best teams in the country that year.

I know it's been mentioned numerous times, but reading this thread title what stuck out to me initially was 2006 Auburn versus LSU.

I remember Brandon Cox was getting beat up the whole game, after one major hit they literally drug him off the field and I figured he was done..... literally a series later he's back out on that field, that guy was tough!

Although I could not find it via google, I remember pictures of Brandon's abdominal bruising that went viral after that game. It was intense looking

2006 #9 Cal came to Knoxville. Jarad Mayo treated Marshawn Lynch like a rented mule. This was pre-targeting rules...UT knocked out Cal's starting Tight End on the opening kickoff. It was a beat-down from start to finish.

ETA Marshawn Lynch highlight pictures.

“It was a very violent game. There was more speed than I've seen on the field in a long time. It's hard to find a loser in that game.” — Tuberville after the 06 game.

Yea seems only 10 points scored total in that 7 to 3 game Auburn.
Coach Boom was AU's defense coordinator. Tubs had some great defenses.

Came here to say this. But I would go back further than that. Around the time of the Dorsey chop block.

Wait, that was during that time. My bad. But there were some nasty games in the 90’s.

Maybe the 1992 Egg Bowl. Also that odd 3-2 Auburn/State in 2008.

That was more of a comedy of errors.

Any game Leroy Jordan played in. He could part your eyes and decleat you all at once.
