Revisiting last year's offenses:

Finished in the Top 10:

6. Mississippi
7. Alabama
9. Tennessee

Finished in the Top 25:

15. Florida
25. Georgia

Finished outside the Top 25:

28. Arkansas
29. Mississippi State
50. Kentucky
61. Missouri
67. Auburn
71. A&M
90. LSU
110. South Carolina
118. Vanderbilt

Now moving onto this year. Who do you have as the Top 5 offenses in the league for this upcoming season? Alabama and Tennessee look like the clear cut favorites from The East & West. Young and Hooker are imo the most impressive quarterbacks in the league going into 2022.

Jefferson & Rogers returning make it hard to leave out Arkansas & State. I expect both teams will remain dangerous with these guys leading.

Bennett isn't the most impressive QB, but he's surrounded by arguably some of the best talent in the country to get them humming.

Rattler to South Carolina should be a huge boost to their offense, but I have major questions with their OC and his play calling.

Levis & UK should be respectable, but it's tough to see them edging out some of the teams ahead of them.

It's tough to see UF holding serve as a Top 15 unit in year 1 under the new HC.

How are A&M and LSU looking at QB? Any big expectations there?

I expect Ole Miss to remain dangerous as long as Kiffin is calling the plays, but how big of a loss is Corrall coupled with how much can they get out of their transfer? Its tough to see them not taking a step back.

Vandy & Auburn have some major work to do.

All that being said - I'll go:

1. Alabama
2. Tennessee
3. State
4. Arkansas
5. Georgia?

What does your list look like? Who shakes out at the top?

A&M's offense will never be super explosive because Jimbo.

I'm not anticipating that LSU's will be either, never really been Denbrock or Kelly's MO, one reason I didn't love the hires.

I don’t know about “explosive” but ours will be much improved. More balanced. Lots of TE action and good run game. However we do have a big playmaker in Boutte. No way LSU doesn’t make a big jump.

Second year in the system (almost identical to what Coen was running) with more offensive targets suggests that Levis and Co. have higher production offensively.

Georgia lost their top two RBs, their top two WRs and a good chunk of their offensive line.

Is there any particular reason you have State at 3?

Our 2021 offense could have easily been number 1, we played through the bench in almost everygame and took the foot of the throttle around the half of most games last season.

L O L. I'll be shocked if we fall outside of t50. I bet we'll see more like 35-40 area. And that's with the current QB situation.

I don't think its possible for us to not improve at Qb this year.

You mention explosive in the subject, but then use a stat that doesn’t measure explosion.

Maybe we need to look at some other stats. Start with yards per play 2021.

We'll see who steps up and replaces Robinson as Mr Reliable at WR. CRod should have a monster year out of the back field. Scangarello promises to take last year's offense and add some new wrinkles. I think most UK fans expect the offense to take another step forward this year. I'm thinking we see a little more distribution amongst the WR this year, in part because of talent and in part because of Levis' improving on his reads and check downs.

I didn’t realize the Gators offense was still top 15 with such a bad season. Interesting

TBD on A&Ms QB play. Not even going to try and guess. Our QB room is a lot better than last year and the Oline should be better which will help out the QB. I’m a Weigman fan. Watched him a ton the past 3 years. He can play but not fair to place crazy expectations on a true Freshman QB.

The Hogs will be interesting. 3 man rotation with Rocket Sanders, AJ Green, and Domonique Johnson at running back. KJ coming back after a good 1st year and has slimmed down a little. Knox I believe will be assuming a full TE role which he could be an absolute match up nightmare with Hudson Henry backing up (if he stays healthy). Biggest ? mark will be at wideout, will Haselwood step up and assume the WR1 spot that Burks left or Ketron Jackson? Hornsby lined up at wide out some because he's too fast and too good of an athlete to not put him on the field in some capacity. It'll be a fun one

#4 nationally in yards per play

If you expand the definition of "most explosive" to include "most likely to crash and burn" then I like AU's chances
