You UGA guys in this thread are incredibly insecure or daft. I didn't say a single negative thing about your O or Stetson. Was even highly complimentary to the impact of a great D.

You lost 15 guys in the draft, including five 1st rounders. Do you honestly think that will have no impact on production?

I notice you didn’t respond to any of the points I made, but you resorted to weak arse flames instead. Do better.

Not on offense. The offense should be even better in 2022 than it was in 2021. Salyer, Shaffer, White, and Cook were all good players but none were irreplaceable. The OL is going to be outstanding, and Milton and McIntosh won't skip a beat at RB.

Georgia recruits so well that you wouldn't see a difference.

You'll notice a drop off in the front seven on defense. There's no way to replace the absurd amount of talent that was drafted out of that group.

It actually will most likely increase UGA's offensive production.

Last year's defense was so good that UGA's offense was able to shut it down in early in the third quarter in most games. Games will undoubtedly be closer this year, therefore more will be asked of the offense in second halves.

The Dawgs offense was a top 5 offense in efficiency last year by all advanced metrics that take out garbage time. This year there will be less garbage time, so one can reasonably expect more raw production numbers.

I think it’s all due to a Stetson being our QB. For whatever reason people can’t seem to give him any credit for being a very good QB. Stats/facts/etc….nothing will deter most people here from downplaying our offense

"Greg McElroy sucks" (natty).
"AJ McCarron sucks" (2natty's).

The fun is in the winning, who cares that people downplay your QB?

People on this forum will do damn near anything to not admit that UGA, an offense that was in the Top 10nationally in scoring and Top 5 in YPA/PPA in 2021, was any good last year and will likely be similar this year. Yep. Here's a couple of fun stats from last year:

Actually, I responded directly to you... even acknowledged better metrics for explosiveness and on the points you made.

Read better.

you expand the definition of "most explosive" to include "most likely to crash and burn" then I like AU's chances

Now that’s funny.

Bennett looked pretty impressive to me. Especially during those last 7 minutes or so of the NC game.
Young looked like a scared rabbit. And we all saw the results of his desperation and panic. Pic 6, Run Kelee Run, 33-18. Ha ha

Georgia lost their top two RBs, their top two WRs and a good chunk of their offensive line.

Brock Bowers was #1 in yards. If you don't want to count him, Ladd McConkey was #3.

Slayer is the only starter we lost along the OLIne. We return:

LT Broderick Jones (Took over in title game)
LG Tate Ratledge
C Sedrick VanPran
RG Warren Ericson
RT Warren McClendon

Jones played a ton, but was the only one that did not start.
Salyer is the only starter we lost. Ratledge was set to start every game, but was injured in the first series of first game, Not sure where you got your information from.

Our RBs MIGHT be a concern one day.....but not this year. They will probably be stronger with Kendall Milton and Kenny McIntosh and Daijun Edwards. I would expect to see a lot of Branson Robinson, too.

Shaffer is the other one. I think Ericson is going to be a backup interior OL and someone else (Willock?) will step up and take the other guard spot.

Wow...with numbers like that, you think he would have been the starter. That 11 TDs to 5 ints (is really impressive). That's only:

36 fewer TDs with 2 fewer INTs than Bryce Young
25 fewer TDs with 4 fewer INTs than Will Rogers
20 fewer TDs with 2 MORE INTs than Hendon Hooker
10 fewer TDs with 1 MORE INT than KJ Jefferson

I'm sure that he will do even better with the offensive weapons he will have at South Carolina vs what he had at Oklahoma.

Bro no one in SC is in here arguing but we actually do have some nice offensive weapons. We’ll prefer to stick to the under the radar, zero expectations team though. Y’all carry on.
