That used to be a cute town.
It probably still is.
This was a stupid article, written about a stupid “study”, performed by a biased group, posted by a stupid poster.
Surely they were laughing their asses off when they put Logan and Cedar City, Utah ahead of Jackson, MS, Philadelphia, PA, San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, Memphis, TN, Baton Rouge, LA, St. Louis, MO, Miami, FL, etc., etc., etc.

Cedar City will sometimes have years without a murder. Logan has always seemed safe to me too.
Smaller college towns always do have high rates of theft and sex crimes, though.

UC Berkley is not safe. This is recently where several violent Palestinian protests have taken place.

Both cities have had great success with their college sport teams.

Berkeley does indeed have a high crime rate. Irvine, California, home to UC Irvine, has the lowest crime rate of any city over 100,000. Asians make up the largest minority group in the city.

A response thread and he doesn't even realize it's not violent crime.

Tallahassee should be up there (at least when I went to school there)

Three of the top 10 most dangerous were in Utah and Iowa
Well the list was compiled by some rando at a Salt Lake City defense attorney firm. I feel pretty comfortable stating that no working at that firm has ever been in the city of Gainesville or Tuscaloosa.
Iowa City IA made the top 10. Over Chicago and New Haven CT. Which of these three places would you pick for your daughter to have car trouble after dark?

that list has Logan and Cedar City, UT in the top ten most dangerous...
The Mormons must be getting frisky these days.
4. New Haven, Connecticut (126)

What a bunch of clickbait bullshite. There is no study. When you click on the "link" to the study, its a link to whatever stupid website that paid for the ad.

I didn't see Baton Rouge anywhere on the list, so it's invalid.

What makes those towns so dangerous? It is a shame.
