Amazing that the Huskers are still 6th (tied) as bad as they've been the past several years,

Wouldn’t have guessed Notre Dame to be that low or Clemson and BYU to be that high

Not playing in bowl games probably played at least some part.

That can happen when you don’t win fewer than 9 games every season from 1969-2001.

Not really. They became a juggernaut in the 70s and that ran all the way through the early 2000s.

Top 6 are all blue bloods. Lots of new money at the bottom of the list.

Oh what could have been if the athletic department actually prioritized winning before 2000.

Tom Osborne was ruthless, he had no problem kicking you while you were down.

That was their culture and how they played. They showed mercy to nobody.

But on the other hand, back then the most dominant teams were the ones considered for a chance to play for a championship. Osborne wasn’t shy about making his case.

since amount of games teams play is always going up, this will heavily skew results to teams who have been good the past 30 years.

I'm sure it would be similar, but would be fun to see a list of most seasons with 2 or less losses or something similar(with a 9 or 10 game minimum or something).
