My question is, how do they not already have this record?
My guess? Once the numbers get into triple digits, most State fans start getting a headache.

I honestly don't understand why State would do this. It is just a matter of time before it is no longer allowed. Bringing attention to it and trying to have more or make it louder is only going to expediate a rule against it.

I’ve been to a few State games and the cowbells aren’t bad in the stadium, really. When they are rung in unison, it’s like loud white noise. Now, when you’re walking along and someone randomly starts clanging away, it’s startling and annoying.

+1 to this. It was annoying but not overly so back when Davis-Wade was just a large high school stadium, open at both ends. Now that it's partially enclosed and they've added several thousand additional seats, the noise is ear-splittingly loud.
