Think of all the money you spend on your kid and the sport. Lessons, uniforms, . coaches etc. Now, add on the expense of the horse. First, the actual cost of the horse, the good one’s aren’t cheap. Then you’ve got the expenses of the farrier, vet, trainer, feed, god forbid boarding if you don’t have a farm. The tack??? Lordy, the expense of a good saddle (esp English) can eclipse the price of a baseball glove. Oh and boots, those can get $$$$

While I haven’t seen it in the commercials, I recently bought a rain gauge. I think this officially punches my ticket to old age.

Elizabeth was ice cold. In one of the later seasons when she was working the black lady who worked at Lockheed, she killed or maimed a total random stranger to a better job for her mark.

Martha would have been killed if Phillip was on the same level as Elizabeth. Not only did they let her live, albeit in communist Russia, she was allowed to adopt a child. Phillip knew that’s what she always wanted and he allowed her to have that.

The Americans is one of my all-time favorite series.
