I am stepping away from being a "fan" of Mizzou athletics, despite being an alum.

Since the 2015 racist protest situation on campus, Mizzou athletics hasn't been the same and maybe never will be again.

This University now has one goal in mind with the athletics department, and that is to make a political statement. People have been fired for being white and hired for not being white, despite how good or bad they are at their actual job title within the athletics department. Am I supposed to believe that Mizzou hired their first female AD in Mizzou and SEC history who happens to be Hispanic AFTER what happened in 2015 is a coincidence? This dumbass doesn't know shite about how to handle a football team which I understand, as she hasn't ever played the game. We just gave a contract extension to a guy who got us to another losing season, had a good portion of his players hit the transfer portal, and he lost to Bryan Harrison, a guy who doesn't even have a job at Auburn anymore after 2 years. Eli is 17-18 overall after 3 years.

Football and Men's basketball are the two biggest money making sports in college athletics and are absolutely critical to be competitive in. Those sports draw attention to your school. Mizzou has failed to achieve being competitive in both since 2015.

Bold words from a program where the best head coach they've ever had in basketball is Mike Anderson.

Hired as the first lesbian head coach in the SEC.

College sports is declining faster and faster. This is another step towards its ruination.

You can’t just quit if you are trying to make an impact.

You have to email or call the AD and make it clear what the issue is as you see it and that until it changes you won’t be spending money there or sending your kids there.

Money and negative feedback does.

I've got a feeling if Peat hadn't fumbled away the Auburn game and we didn't rough KY's punter, 2015 wouldn't even be on your mind. Either grow a pair and keep rooting for your "alma mater" or switch to UGA/Bama. They got sidewalk fans out the arse, I'm sure they'll welcome one more.

You realize Jim Sterk was hired as AD a year after the protests right? You're truly a retard if you think DRF being hired 6 years later was a response to the protests. Anyway, this is a very oddly timed melt. See ya bozo

I root for Kansas when they play any of the Oklahoma and Texas teams in the Big 12.

You're stepping away from Missouri athletics now, in 2022, because they're mediocre and lack the will to win at the highest levels? When did you become a fan, last week? "Mediocre and lacking the will to win" is how you say "Missouri" in Swahili.

That's stupid. Everyone knows there would be at least 3 clicks in a Swahili sentence that long.
