I remember that game. Ole Houston Dale was really on his A game that day.

I don’t think he going anywhere. He seems to be more of a backup plan for better programs . I don’t see anyone giving him what he would want . If he leaves it would because he wants to leave . His buyout would have to be cheap for him to leave.

The way I hear it is Mullens is not happy living in Starkville because it's a depressing, sad place full of morons.

Boy, lot of ignorance to unpack here.
Nobody should be surprised at a college football outcome - LSU lost to Troy after all.
You need to define "big program." Enrollment? State is bigger. Ceiling? State has accomplished more in the expansion era. Facilities? State by a mile. Recruiting? State has recruited in-state better than Ole Miss for a while now. Cheating? Yeah, I'll give you that...Ole Miss is the big leagues for cheating.
Yay 50s and 60s! Since the SEC expanded in the early 90s, State is 13-12 against Ole Miss, and that includes the horrible Croom years and the Freeze era...perhaps your best three or four year stretch in a generation.
LOL
Subjective argument, but I would point out that Miss Mississippi comes from State more often than Ole Miss these days.
"still see themselves" the operative words. Delusional.

Most of this is true about Ole Miss. From my time spent in Mississippi (10 years), Ole Miss fans seemed to be transitioning from the in state power to major "little brother syndrome". There were more MSU fans in the state of Mississippi than Ole Miss fans, and the tide seemed to be turning.
Don't get me wrong, Oxford is a nice little college town, but Ole Miss fans have no room talking down to Starkville. I enjoyed my time there and it seemed to be a nice college town. It didn't even look like the same place I remember from the early 90's.

As of right now OM has better facilities across the board.

The current bs going on right now might barely put OM ahead in regards to NCAA infractions. MSU has been in the lead until now.

Yeah but we didn't start playing in 1990. Also in that stretch MSU enjoyed two of their best stretches and the series in that time period still just about even. If you add 1989 it is even.

Because you say it? Because it sure the hell ain't true. The only thing facilities wise that's better in Oxford is the home locker room.

Well, make an argument otherwise. Other than AJ Brown, the bulk of your biggest commits are bought, um, I mean, come from out of state.

Newsflash: After the COI rules in a couple of weeks, Ole Miss will have had two of the three biggest NCAA football probations/punishments since SMU.

Like I've said before...teams that rely on records from the 50s and 60s to claim superiority are teams that have nothing going for it today.

Well, I don't have to defend "Ole Miss" so at least I've got that going for me.

In what universe does OM have better facilities across the board? That is so ignorant it makes my head hurt. We are currently building the best baseball stadium in the college world. It's being built right now. Go look if you'd like. Our football stadium is nicer and it's not even close. You just threw together some metal bullshite in your end zone to make sure your capacity was 10 people more than ours. It's not nearly as nice. Our football program just built a brand new Seal complex for football only about 3 years ago. You don't have better facilities than us in anything except basketball.

Dudy Noble will be nicer once completed but its still under construction
OM Facilities > State facilities.

So, are those articles supposed to be some scientific ranking or something?
Ole Miss's football stadium is an embarrassment. The grandstands look like an oversized high school stadium. The awnings don't match. The endzone expansion you guys did a few years ago is akin to building a $30,000 front porch onto a double wide trailer. You added an aluminum endzone monstrosity for the sole purpose of claiming bigger seating capacity than State - and you can't fill it up. The manning center is nice enough but everybody has an indoor facility. State's Seal Football Complex blows anything away that you have.
I wasn't talking about basketball, but I'll give you credit on your little basketball arena - it's nice. But State recently built new basketball practice and training facilities that are among the best in the country. Oh, and we like our basketball arena....Ole Miss had to replace the one they had so they could stop having rained-out basketball games.
Baseball, enough said.

Oh look, an article from someone ranking State's stadium over yours. We can go find articles from people who never go to these stadiums all we want, but anyone who has been to both (especially in the premium seating or new additions to both) and tells you OM has a nicer stadium is fricking retarded.
