The cards told me this one is a tossup.

I too am looking forward to seeing how the hogs fare on the road tonight. I wouldn't wager this game.

So what you're saying here is that if I start doing regular tarot readings for the board you won't read them?
Bums me out, man.

Like I said, it was an honest reading and I tried my best to avoid any bias. If anyone else out there knows the tarot and would like to take a turn at interpreting my draw, please share.

The devil actually makes that reading hard to decipher. The devil represents breaking the barriers we place upon ourselves, and like card #1 drawn, the chariot, also represents change and transformation.
I couldn't shake the feeling though that the puppet master represents Saban in this reading, for a multitude of reasons actually.
Like I said, this reading was very intriguing, as these things generally are.

Okay.
Generally I use a five card spread. Wherein card number one is about my question (will Alabama win the national title this year?), Card two is what may help, card three is what may hurt, card four is first possible outcome, card five is second possible outcome.
Oh, and I prefer to use a whimsical tarot deck because all the cards are drawn to a theme of a popular nursery rhyme or fairy tale for ease of deciphering meaning.
Card one: The chariot. The pumpkin coach from Cinderella. This card represents change or transformation. Remember, the question is Alabama wins or not? Eh. Looks to favor Georgia out the gate.
Card two: the two of rods. The lion and the mouse. What may help determine this question literally has a picture of the lion ensnared by a mouse in a net. (Cosmic solutions at hand. Clearly points to Georgia)
Card three: the devil. Pinocchio and the puppet master. What may hurt determine this question has a picture of a puppeteer. This to me indicates Georgia, and particularly Kirby Smart, may feel overwhelmed at the prospect of facing the puppet master and mentor for all the marbles
Card four: the four of cups. The emperor from the emperor's new clothes. This is our first possible outcome and to me clearly points to Georgia winning a title. The emperor sought after having the finest clothes ever made. Something extraordinary (another title), and was so wrapped up in the idea he never realized the clothes weren't real.
Card five: king of rods. Prince Charming from Cinderella. Does Prince Charming represent Kirby Smart? Prince Charming is a man of action. I think so. Prince Charming's problem is that while he is busy dreaming of lofty goals, someone else is achieving them. That would be Saban. This is our second possible outcome.
In totality, this reading gives Georgia fans much to be excited about, but that ole Devil drew his way right into this spread, right where you would expect to find him.
The puppet master is in play and Kirby is gonna have to focus if he wants to ensnare this lion.
We are gonna see another damn good game. I wouldn't wager it.

And the results were pretty interesting (as they usually are). If you guys would like I will share my reading of the National Title game with the board. And this is no troll. I'll give an honest reading, no spell casting involved.

I'm sure their recruiting is starting to suffer for it.
