I’ve never seen so much hype for a team that got ran out of the stadium in 2 games the year before and was getting run out of the stadium by a bad Ole Miss team until they took their foot off the gas. They still cannot beat a team with a good defense and they don’t have a quarterback that’s gonna make a big play late in a close game. It will be the same Mississippi State team you always say they beat up on the week teams and lose to the good teams 8-4 is their sweet spot when they have a good team. And of course recently if they ranked at the end of the season that’s almost a guarantee they will lose the egg bowl
