You do realize State came within a hair of beating Peyton Manning in the SEC title game in 96 don't you? Wasn't it a last minute Peerless Price score that was the death nail?

Mississippi State is not even fricking better than LSU, yet you think they win the West, which they've NEVER done before? Some of yall on here are fricking retarded.

Actually, we came within a hair of beating Tee Martin in the SEC title game in 98. And we indeed did lose to LSU that year.

I hate to break it to you but we are 40 games better all time and your one win last year did nothing to close that gap. Besides, every new year merits new things.

State always plays the Tide within a few inches an can go either way. Now with Mullen gone it may be an even better possibility. The talent is there, but i know very little about the new coach, it was guaranteed for Mullen to never win the SEC.

Teqnically no, it would mean they both go 6-2 or 6-2 and 5-3, since he has State beating both thus winning the tiebreaker.
But the most ridiculous part is he has State dropping one to Kentucky. I don’t think they’re SEC West champs by any means, but if y’all lose to Kentucky with all those returning starters I don’t think I could live with myself if I were a fan.
Then again, we have Coach O so I can’t really talk.
