JJ's source is omniscient. He is everywhere. He knows players are already on the phone with other schools 3 hours after a coach was fired.

But he's not a fan

You’re not nearly a big enough deal for this power move. Nobody is going to want that job now.

agree completely. this is a rash decision

Such a great take by an aTm fan. Your program has literally never won anything yet you pay a coach 80 million and have the audacity to criticize another program.

No, you aren't hearing shite. You saw a post on Gene's Page that said Barry Odom started following Dean on twitter.

Janari Dean will be at State, just like Marks and Forbes, much to your disappointment because you want so desperately to be right.

It's always about wins and losses.MSU isn't a great job anyway and getting rid of a coach after year 2 doesn't make it any more attractive.

Ole miss hired kiffin. This is a reactionary move.

This is kind of what I think, Ole Miss just became a much bigger threat so MSU felt like they had to make a move before momentum went all Ole Miss' way.

It was reactionary to the fight before the bowl game and the abysmal performance against UL. Kiffin was only a minuscule piece a entire month before Joe was fired. Timeline doesn't add up.

aGAIN, Dean is signed with Mississippi State. He can't be in talks with anyone - that would be a violation.

He will be at Mississippi State.

This is the dumbest theory on the internets
Maybe it's just the least informed, but regardless, it's dumb.

Look back and see how happy State fans were with JoMo before Lane Kiffin ever heard of Ole Miss.

State should go ahead and let Tony Hughes keep that head coaching spot. I'm sure he will do a much better job than D***head Moorhead.

It’s what everyone thinks including recruits.

They’re thinking “damn, i need to check out this kiffin dude if he’s making state fire their coach”

The fact that he lost a 100 pounds proves he isn’t a fit. Stingray agrees

Bowl games are practically meaningless really. I dont buy them getting rid of Moorhead if Luke is still at Ole Miss right now, just dont, sorry.

There's absolutely nothing dumb about it. Ole Miss made a recognizable hire who has success under his belt now and MSU was trending down under Moorhead. It might not be THE only reason but it certainly could have been the straw to break the camel's back.
