When he made a bowl both years no less

You’re not nearly a big enough deal for this power move. Nobody is going to want that job now.

It wasn’t about wins and losses.

I think it was less about the results and more that he just wasn't a fit at all in the region and at the school. Dude is a Yankee and by all accounts never fit in from day 1.

Well you know. When fans feel they control things and the AD let's them.... you get UT and Ark......

BUT, maybe they can pull it off

I applaud them for making the correct move.

It just seems like you're mad that you spent $75M on a dud.

Ole Miss fans seem to be mad about this decision, so that's another sign that it was the right move.

This will not end well.

Are the kids that signed during the first period, stuck? Or do they have an out without sitting out a year.

Nobody should be dumb enough to pay 75-million for 10 years to win 7 games a year, but here you are.

Non-homer ole miss fans, especially ones living in the region who are more familiar with the intricacies of the situation will clearly and readily see why we did it, just like why non-homer State fans saw why ole miss did what they did with freeze and luke.

Only a fool speaks of that which he does not know, but since you're a sidewalk alumni, fairweather gumptard, I'd expect nothing less.

State is flailing because we’re out hiring a shiny new coach and assistants and they’re baby brother. They have this fairly nice Tonka truck from Christmas 2018. Ole Miss gets a new Tonka truck during Christmas 2019. Little brother goes into the back yard and takes a shite on their Tonka truck with the neighbor watching. Little brother comes back inside and realizes there’s no replacement for the shat-on Tonka truck.

MSU’s situation in Tonka-laden parable ^

I totally get why they did it. They know their margins are slim and one more bad 12 months and they lose everything Mullen built.

They had to nip it in the bud immediately and they did. Might not work, but it had to be done.

Cliff notes: Ole Miss is mad State getting rid of JoMo, because they have been better, lately.
