Come on man, that’s a terrible photoshop job. Did your 3 year old do that?

No one believes that, not even you

Its supposed to look terrible.

Everyone believes that. The entire fanbase has been calling for Joe's head since the Egg Bowl long before Kiffin was hired.

I’m sure the fans wanted it. But they don’t hire and fire coaches

Have an upvote.
I mentioned before that reasonable folks of the OM and State family (who are reasonably more familiar with the situation in both programs than others) will easily relate when the other makes an obvious move to attempt righting their ship.
THANK YOU! And I don't like for the EB to be a clash of the titan's wives. The EB is an epic old rivalry steeped in tradition, pageantry, memories and more, and having the two teams just relevant only makes it better. It's good for Mississippi when her two teams are successful and relevant- in many many ways.

I don't like it when the top schools in the conference have a few gimme conference wins each year.

Somebody will want the money, but nobody is going to make State into a big time football school.
That's not what we, nor anyone outside of the big 5 are attempting to do.
Why do you think this?
You should try and keep up.
I'm worried about you. Prayers sent lil buddy.

So why didn't we make the decision after Kiffin was hired? It's apparent that the bowl game and the fight leading up to it was the straw that broke the camels back. That's a fact, Jack.

Any coach that loses to Texas A&M should automatically be considered to be fired

They were content as long as ole miss was in the gutter with them
Now the lane train has arrived, burner phone in hand

Fan apathy was at Croom levels despite back to back bowl games.
Next year's home schedule is WEAK. New Mexico, Tulane, Alabama A&M, Auburn, A&M, Missouri and Arkansas.
Marketing season tickets for MSU next year was going to be a tough job. The fanbase just did not like him. Most of us knew that losing five games with the defense we had in 2018 told us everything we needed to know, but you had to give him a second year.
6-7 this season with the tutor gate, the mishandling of personnel and just an overall lack of discipline? State made the right decision for once.Moorhead's legacy will be that he had one of the best defenses in modern college football history and went 8-5. But he was 2-0 against Ole Miss.

State is flailing because we’re out hiring a shiny new coach and assistants and they’re baby brother. They have this fairly nice Tonka truck from Christmas 2018. Ole Miss gets a new Tonka truck during Christmas 2019. Little brother goes into the back yard and takes a shite on their Tonka truck with the neighbor watching. Little brother comes back inside and realizes there’s no replacement for the shat-on Tonka truck.
State's tonka truck has shite on ole miss' tonka truck the past 2 years. You're in no position to call them "baby brother"..... baby brother.

I thought it was an odd move. Mullen made them think they were better than they are. I'm not sure who they can even get at this point. Odds are they will be making another change in about three years.

No, he wasn't. Non-trolling, non-homer take, he wasn't.
Au contraire, the hire was applauded all over the place.
Right. On the surface it wasn't a bad hire at all. I think he's a good offensive coach, and he had some success at the FCS level as a HC.
However, as has been repeated ad nauseum, he was just an awful fit for State. He would probably do fine again at a smaller program up north, but State and the SEC weren't right for him. That's why I disagree with the OP for questioning the decision to part ways after only 2 seasons; no point in trying to keep hammering a square peg into a round hole.

Normally I would agree and I can only make this assessment from what I read several states away, but I don’t think this was a marriage that was going to last long anyway.
Then again I wouldn’t give a guy 75 million to the guy who started a dumpster fire at FSU either.

So why did we wait a month if the Kiffin hired bothered us that much? Your timeline on your shitty hypothetical doesn't even add up. Take a lap.

Such dynamic, such personality

who knows why anyone would fire a coach this late regardless of the reasons behind it
Sounds like they’re running a tight ship over there
