Let's just hope Mike White doesn't have any run-ins with the HR resources first

I remember when Tom Crean, also going in to his second season in Athens, signed a top 10 recruiting class that included the #1 overall recruit in the country.

That’s fair. The problem with that class is that everyone either got kicked off the team or transferred because they hated Crean.

I don’t think that will be an issue with White

Recruiting rankings in basketball are less than useless.

Easy metric to use to measure, did the player play in the McDonalds AA game? No? then they are not top 30 talent regardless of what the sites say.

The transfer portal didn't exist when crean started here either, so it was a new experience to navigate and he admittedly did a very poor job at it.

Also comparing white to crean is laughable.

True, Crean has accomplished more as a HC.

UGA is incredibly mediocre at BBall.

imagine how bad you’d have to be to get fired here.

Laughable statement

I didn't realize White took a team to the final four.

White is a good coach and the Atlanta area is loaded with talent. Stegeman is a dump, and most of the Georgia fans I know don't give a rip about bball, but the potential is there for them to be a factor in the SEC.

The SEC has become very competitive in basketball.

It's obvious you haven't been to Stegman in several years. Millions have been spent and are still bring spent on remodeling. Georgia spends huge amounts of money on sports other than football too. Some of the best facilities in the country continue to have Millions spent on them.

You do realize that once Chris Beard leaves Ole Miss, Mike White is coming home? And in the world of NIL, let him build it up at UGA until he leaves. He'll just bring them home with him.

I’m Probably in the minority here, but spending millions to upgrade Steg is like putting lipstick on a pig. I’ve always been in favor of building a new off campus arena or using the Classic Center in downtown.

Student attendance would be zero. Stegeman is the ideal location and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Basketball is cool, it’s worth the investment, baseball as well.

It’s great as a fan to have more than one sport to follow. Good luck.
