I've heard about that. Even saw Scott on tv years ago talking about the story. He didn't actually admit doing it but didn't deny it either. He was certainly crazy enough to have done it

Admit, I have not been to a basketball game since probably 2000. I can’t speak to renovations. But it doesn’t change the fact that the best story about that place is Jake Scott.

Jake Scott is a private person who wants to be left alone. It happened, but you’d never get it out of him, because he doesn’t talk about shot to any Pres, since he played. Good for him btw

I've heard it questioned. And he didn't admit it when asked on tv. Didn't deny it either. He may be a private person but he wasn't so private that he refused that tv interview

I think you misunderstand what "legitimate" means, at least for UGA sports fans.
If UGA makes the tournament every 2-3 seasons and wins a game in the tournament once every 5 seasons, we are happy with that. While our expectations for football are sky high, for other sports we just don't want to suck.
