I just listened to his post egg bowl presser for the first time and damn he sounded bad. Pretty morbid in hindsight.

I’m glad state won and he went out with a win. Truly heartbroken about this.

Just a personal thing for me. Leach has been my favorite coach for a very long time.

Me too. I streamed the first part of Mac and Cube this AM hoping for a positive update.

Cool that Leach was the first guy to recruit McElroy.

Stolen from elite dawgs...

Rosebowl on Bo Bounds just said
If Leach survives, it will be an absolute miracle if he coaches again. His four kids have been called in, the final two will make it in today. They have "decisions" to make.

Urban got hospitalized, but obviously, not as serious

Urban just had a panic attack that was triggered by getting his arse kicked and realizing that it was all over for him at Florida. Jerry Kill was constantly in and out of the hospital with seizures during his career and had a few in the middle of a game. Bryant died like a month after coaching his last game, but he had already retired.

This is all really sad to wake up to. I hope it's just some crazy rumor that has taken on a life of its own and Leach only had a mild heart attack and is currently arguing with a nurse over the relative quality of different jello flavors.

I got a text from a State guy I know that's well connected and he told me the same thing. Massive heart attack last night.

RIP Coach Leach.

Right at Christmas time too. My old man turned 66 this year. Just so sobering to think how quick our loved ones can be gone.

My grandfather died about a week before Christmas 1976 .. he was duck hunting with my dad … don’t even know how my dad managed to get help. No cell phones of course and the club where they hunted was about 30 minutes away from anything.

This situation is hard enough let alone at Christmas.

Prayers for all of their family and friends.
