You didn’t leave but we were all doing geometry to figure out if trees could reach your house lol. Or something along those lines.
Here’s to a quiet season.

We did a tipsy pasta cooking class .. so much fun .. made pasta and different spritz. They made the sauce and it was one of the best meals we had.

I remember thinking “that cop ate one too many jelly donuts” as he gave chase to the streakers lol.

I’d be finding a new job if I worked for the city.
A friend just got back but brought home no euros.
She suggested just to grab at the DFW airport on our way out if my bank can’t get them in time.

Euros for Europe .. get here or there?

Old posts vary on thoughts so I figured it can’t hurt to ask again.
Many posts said to use your debit card THERE if there are no fees. I will call my bank tomorrow re: transaction fees for using debit card there but I’m willing to bet there will be as it’s a small local bank.
I have 2 credit cards that have no foreign transactions fees on purchases so I’ll be using those .. I’ll call them as well to see if this applies to cash advances but I’m assuming it will.
Is it better to pay the fee and get them there or to get euros here? I just want the best exchange rate.
And yes we will use cc for what we can .. but will need some for bathrooms (if it’s not a shop or restaurant), water, small shops.
Will be in Paris, Rome, Sorrento.
He has. At least before the primary. It was tv ads for sure .. maybe radio as well.

Probably. It was an unexpected interview. Yes I’m old and could lose a few..
Not a drop where I am south of Lafayette. Today was supposed to be a rain out.
Also feel free to give me your best long-haul flight travel tips! I’ve only flown internationally once and it was to Africa several years ago. I wasn’t miserable, but it could’ve been better.
Do you travel with Carrie one only? Everyone keeps telling me I need to do that but I just don’t know if it’s possible for 10 days. We’re going in July and it’s going to be hot as hell and I’m not washing dresses in the sink.
Geeze. Ours were wayyyy more. How early did you book?

Sharing again this year about our Sunflowers for St. Jude fundraiser. It’s in Kaplan, Louisiana.
All donation based — 100% of donations go to St. Jude.
If you have Facebook (yeah I know but it’s been great for this) the page name is Sunflowers for St. Jude!!! .. don’t leave off the !!!
Some have expressed interest in prior years so I figured I’d share again this year!!

re: If you die tomorrow, does your significant other have good grasp on financials?

If I died my husband would be fine .. if he dies first, well I know who to go to and have “some” more than basic understanding of the investments.
My husband is a farmer .. one day years ago I realized that should he die prior to harvest and a crop was in the field .. what would I do. He told me all the farmers around here would do what was needed to get the crop finished. AlI need to know on the financial side of the farm is the bank he works with and the FSA office.

I’d agree. I was newly pregnant and slept so much of it but what I saw was fantastic. My husband loved it. Silverto. Was a cool little town as well.
We took the bus up and the train down.

I wish we had more time to copy your blog .. we’ll be in Paris for three nights, Rome for four and Sorrento for two. I’m expecting that we’ll love Sorrento the most.
