10k is low end right?
If he makes $7 mil and gets 60% in retirement we are talking 325k a month

whoever said 99.99%

If Bama made $150,000,000 and they gave the CEO (Saban) 10%=$15,000,000. So he is underpaid at Bama.
He needs a raise.
$150,000,000 is misleading
how much are donations?
That is like saying United Way CEO should get 10% ......which sadly with the way they are run might be accurate lol

Since when is 15-17 in the NFL a "disaster"?
That's roughly 8-8 a year, that's squarely mediocre.
It's a hell of a lot better than the Dolphins normally do these days.

They'd be throwing parades in the city of Cleveland if the Browns finished with that record. I think Golic was countering another guest, Louis Riddick, who said that Saban was being unfairly criticized about his tenure in the NFL. Golic got all salty about it and said he was a failure in the NFL. Not necessarily a disaster, but to the same degree. Saban has it about as good as anyone. I don't see him retiring anywhere else except for Bama.

The only way his comment would even remotely make sense is if he thought you were saying that Saban made more than 95% of Alabamans combined. If that's the case then we need to switch into lack of comprehension for him.

Golic still salty about that 42-14 ND beatdown in the BCS NC. Get over it, Mike.
Wasn't his son on that team that went for an arse drag in the natty?

Saban wasn't a disaster in the NFL. His game and the things he does well DO NOT translate to the NFL well. Where guys are expected to get X number of touches or receptions, I don't think Nick could give a lesser frick. Also he likes to have complete & utter control of the football program, NFL offices and GMs have a lot to influence over the decision making. I just don't think that sits well with Saban.

Yes. The entire world knew what was abt to happen except for ND fans. Literally the worst NC game of the modern era.

Didn't Saban coach 1 of the 2 winning seasons for the Dolphins in the last 10 years?

These clowns actually believe Saban has talked to Finebaum of all people about his possible future plans? The guy that changes my oil would be about as credible on the subject.

I think his style it is easier to lord over an 18y old then a multi million dollar pro

Anyone that plans to go after him probably knows that they will be giving him full control and a ton of money.
The pension would be nice, but for a guy who is making 153K PER WEEK right now, just from his primary job, not counting car dealerships or whatever.....it probably isn't going to factor in to his decision.

particularly if he thinks a good run in the pros is the missing link to his legacy

I'll never forget the look on his face the day after that game. Priceless.
