I hope he gets to play. If he has straightened himself out, there's no reason he shouldn't be given another opportunity. I wish him the best of luck, except for when he plays Auburn, of course.

The guy broke Bo Jackson's freshman rushing record and got himself into Auburn's top ten for total rushing yards in only two years. The kid is talented.

He went through spring camp at Arkansas State in 2012. All Razorback fans I heard from told me then that they didn't want him and that he was a thug. I defended him saying he'd turned his life around.
Then he gets stopped doing ninety with a gun and possibly weed in the car. The trooper who stopped him calls Gus. We hear nothing about it for a month until the story breaks. Then Gus kicks him off the team. Razorback fans laugh and say told you so.
Fast forward to today and it is the Razorback fans who say he has turned his life around. Maybe he has. I hope he has.

I doubt it would really be any different than the Auburn fans who bashed Petrino constantly while he was at Arkansas only to turn around and pray that he was hired at Auburn a few months ago.

I missed that Dyer wound up at Arkansas Baptist. I don't doubt that Fitz Hill is in Dyer's ear multiple times a day about getting it together with or without football. I want Dyer to do well, and I hope he can do it without someone like Hill blowing him up daily about personal potential.
