None can handle my undergrad alma mater, Arkansas State.
You do know that they both got it from Tony Dungy, and that Hugh has used it before, don't you?

Oh, gotcha. Maybe, but it's no secret that he's not a speed guy.

Nah, skipping the 40 didn't hurt. He went in as #1 and left the same way.
Good point. It can mean that. Absolutely. What I'm trying to get across is, with so many variables on acceptance, the rate alone is not a good barometer.

But, in the case of OM and MSU, acceptance is not a badge of honor. The standards are identical and embarrassingly low. Each school would raise their standards of possible.

A good example of the flaws of admission rates is law school. Your typical applicant applies to many schools. (Grad school is where the space limits really kick in) Also, a person will apply to schools at the upper end of their qualifications. Now, let's say two schools are remarkably similar in academic stature, with very similar admission standards. One is a private school with a $500 application fee, and the other is a state school with a $50 fee. The state school will have many more applicants, resulting in a lower acceptance rate, but it says nothing of the quality of the institution, comparatively.
You really don't understand what the implication of identical admission standards means, do you?

The only way that lower acceptance rates is a good thing is if it indicates higher admission standards. We know that in Mississippi universities, this is not the case.

Therefore, the acceptance rates mean that 29 of 100 MSU applicants failed to meet the same standard that only 19 of 100 Ole Miss applicants failed to meet.
quote:

MSU acceptance rate 71% Ole Miss acceptance rate 81% The 71% is not the same as the 81%. You did a good job in seeing that the "1's" were the same but you have to count both numbers. We on the Rant are very proud of you for trying.

So, if the entrance requirements are the same, all that means is that you have dumber people applying to MSU.
Did you know only 5 QBs in the history of the SEC had over 4000 yds in a season? Did you know Kelly is one of those 5?
What about the "Transitive Property Iron Bowl Champs" banner?
Well I attended Ole Miss and Arkansas State, so I guess I check in twice?
frick LA-LA. I just don't like those bastards. I graduated undergrad at ASU and devloped a distaste for them thne.

And it was a bitch move.
Nothing other than showing LA-LA to be bitches.

Do you hear Florida crying other teams have steroid users, or Ole Miss that players elsewhere drive cars they didn't pay for (talking about the institution, not fans)? No. You do not. You take your medicine and move on.

Burlsworth is a good answer. I was tempted to put Chucky on my list.

Go with Willis. And yep.

And Arkansas fan, Mallet? I'd have guessed Dirt Winston or Barry Foster
