Happened this morning in Dothan, AL. two hours ago. We were standing in check out line, me behind him. I had just bought some wood glue, quart of Kilz-2 primer, and sheet of 120 grit sand paper. I said Roll Tide and he responded, Go Tigers. I said, huh? He stated that though he is a die hard LSU fan, he has unwavering respect for Bama's long overall domination of the SEC, all time wins, titles, etc, etc. He said that even though his team won in Tuscaloosa last year in a sweet victory, he has gut feeling that it was just the expected occasional blip for Bama and that they would soon be king of the SEC and probably nation more times than not for next several years, and that he therefore just can't suddenly stop loving Bama's rich history, and is compelled to deck out in Bama gear now and then.

Please give me a bunch of up votes, I know you love it, tian.

Thx. I know that whole area well and love it, Abbeville, Ozark, Headland. Andalusia, Troy, Eufaula. Dothan, home of Bobby Goldsboro, and Peanut Capital of the World:)

Here’s the secret to making the rule work: The rule applies to the sound of the letter beginning the word, not just the letter itself. The way we say the word will determine whether or not we use a or an. If the word begins with a vowel sound, you must use an. If it begins with a consonant sound, you must use a.

A'ight... I'll be heading down to Dothan in a couple weeks to visit my mother and my brother's family. I'll make sure to wear nothing but purple and gold while I'm there.

Which Home Depot, by the way? I usually spend money at the one by Publix on the circle north of HWY 84. (Mom, unfortunately, prefers Lowe's past the mall. I hate the traffic around there.)

ETA: Y'all stay safe down there in Houston County! Looks like you're in for a whole lot of rain from this storm! We're starting to get the fringe edges of the rain here in the Atlanta area just now. Looks like it's gonna be wet for a while.

And edited yet again to ask if y'all are gonna have the Peanut Festival this year? I sure as hell hope so! It's well worth the four hour drive from north of Atlanta to spend a weekend with the wonderful people of the Wiregrass Region!
