Same thing man. Sorry if that truth stings a bit.

The difference between the two isn’t like comparing an orange to a lemon, it closer to comparing a lemon to a slightly underripe lemon and trying to say they are different fruits entirely.

Well, my mock draft has Vanderbilt's Sarah Fuller going first over all. So what's your point?

Once again...good for Chase, but this is a terrible precedent that should worry the average college football fan. If a sophomore/redshirt freshman can have a lights-out year and then sit out a year to prepare for the NFL Draft and go in the first 10 selected, that will inevitably have a negative impact on the team and the sport as a whole. LSU fans can gloat about Chase going over Smith all they want to, but y'all are missing the big picture.

I’m not sure why you’re acting like that’s some big gotcha moment. Yes, he came back in very large part to improve his draft stock, and it was a very wise investment. Last year he would have been the third player on his own team taken, and was a probable 2nd rounder, now he has a chance to be the first receiver off the board, and a sure first rounder. He made himself millions of dollars with that decision, as well as the Heisman and championship rings. Chase could have gone last year in the first round, and instead he quit and sat on his arse instead of making millions. Who’s laughing now?

LSU has regressed to celebrating mock drafts. Big win, LSU. Big win.

If Bama had any player projected to go top 5 in a Covid year they probably would have opted out too.
they literally did and he literally didn’t. He won the heisman and a frickload of other awards and most likely played his way into a higher draft stock than chase who sat on his arse for a year

First of all, you’re right about Chase, only a sophomore, the other two points are both debatable, last year was a deep receiver class, he might have snuck in at the bottom of the first, but nowhere near where he is now. It remains to be seen about where he goes relative to the others this year, if he’s lucky Philadelphia will pass on him.
