Max Johnson...pretty clear now why...

he left LSU. Two words..."Jayden Daniels"! No way Max would have seen the field.
He has the same problem at A&M he had at LSU...no pocket presence! Even the announcers noticed that last night and said several of the sacks were because he held on to the ball too long.
I think his brother is a legit tight end and will do extremely well, but I doubt the Aggies take it to the next level with Max.
He hasn't progressed as a QB

I really didn’t care that he left. He is a pretty good backup qb and a gamer.
Just got a ceiling on what he can do and same thing seeing this year when he was at lsu.

More like, Alabama fans wish Max was still LSU’s QB.
Alabama is already 0-1 vs Daniels and would be 0-2 had he been at LSU in 2021 instead of Max.

Had Daniels announced he was transferring before Johnson entered the portal? I really don't remember, but I thought Max announced really early, like before the bowl game, that he was leaving.

I agree. Max isn't a very good qb. Whats worse is A&M is losing with all those 5 stars across the board.

There is a reason Max was the A&M backup QB this year until their starter suffered a season ending injury.

Just because he was going to lose his scholarship doesn’t mean he should have transferred out.

No, max entered the portal before the bowl game which is why kirklin had to play QB.
Max is a bitch for that move, but he was gone before Daniels said he was coming.
