This is ignorant. Why would JD have been at LSU in 2021 in the first place? If he was sitting on the bench behind Max in 2021 this would make more sense, but he was playing at ASU.
Regardless did you see him back in 2021 at ASU?
In 2023 He is having a great year and has developed into more of a complete QB in time at LSU, but there is a reason he is in his 5th season as a starter in college. We still saw some of the issues off and on last season.

The OPs timeline is off, Max hit the portal a week after Coach O's last game vs. Aggie in 2021. Kelly got the job and went after JD after that point in time.
Personally I wish Max would have stayed with LSU and played the bowl game and left after that, he loses no eligibility and LSU does not have to play a corner back at QB vs. KSU.

Max left before the bowl game against KSU. He left for an NIL joint deal so Aggie could steal his TE brother. It was shady AF at the time and still is. He left LSU starting a WR at QB.
