Hey Dipshit, you conveniently left out a Rose Bowl win and Natty appearance.

Richt had a Sugar Bowl win which is the same as Kirby's "Rose Bowl" win. Both still choke in the big games though that hasn't changed.

Bama has a pretty young team as well. Most of our play makers are still Sophomores with a few Freshman sprinkled in.

As long as Kirby Smart is on that sideline there won't be any fear from me the guy is a chronic choker and a mediocre game day coach.

meh, UGA was a top 4 game headed to bowl season in Richt's second year in 2002. They then won the Sugar Bowl. Kirby would not have qualified for the national title game last year under the old BCS system Richt was playing under in 2002.

I know you’re pretty dense but you can’t honestly believe that Kirby is playing with “better recruiting” considering his only two full classes from 17 and 18 are sophomores and freshmen?

After 3 seasons of tackle football Richt and Kirby are Siamese Twins. Year 4 is on the horizon. When in your opinion is Kirby on the clock to start producing and stop choking?

And what did Richt do in year 3?

This is Kirby's 3rd year and we had a legit shot at the playoffs with an 11-1 record.

Richt's 3rd year, we had 2 regular season losses and an SECG loss and a Capital One bowl.

How does that compare to this year? We had a better record, didnt get blown out like Richt in the SECG and we are going to the Sugar bowl as a huge favorite.

Your wishing we are worse than we are isn't going to help your team. This team is the youngest in the SEC and probably the Nation and we kicked arse this year.

The same year that Bama had its best team in over 100 years. Let that sink in.

LSU Dec. 6 Atlanta, GA Lost 34-13

In Richt's third year he lost to Saban twice, once in the regular season and once in the SECCG. It is not out of the realm of probabilities that if Kirby had played Saban twice this year, he would have lost twice.

Well, he got blown out in the regular season, so there's that. Richt's team showed a lot more heart in Tiger Stadium than Kirby's team did this year.

I don't really give a damn about how good or bad Georgia is.

Yeah, they played their worst game of the season. they're still undefeated, till ranked #1 in the country, and still in the playoffs. If they win the national title, only Georgia fans will care or remember 5 years from now they almost beat Alabama.

Lost the SEC Championship just like Kirby just did.

One more loss and they finish with an identical record

Might be the stupidest thing you said.

Last year your recruiting was down a lot and that will cause a talent gap with UGA.

Your average composite ranking per player is lower than UGA's, which means there is no talent gap after these last 2 years and it shows on the field.

Saban has just been a better coach, but he has been doing it for 40 years.

It is very sad that you spend so much time obsessing over a coach you allegedly find so non-threatening.

Well, I guess there are no more excuses for Kirby to lose to Alabama going forward. Right?

We are very likely to finish #1 or #2 in recruiting this year btw.

Gosh, and UGA hired Kirby specifically to scare you.
I can't decide if you're more arrogant than dumb, or the other way around.

Debatable. 1-loss SEC would have gotten in over 1-loss Big XII, IMO. The CFP rankings are completely different than the BCS rankings.

So, you could also argue that 2017 UGA probably would have drug Clemson same way Bama did. And Mark Richt never even got to the NC. Nor did he play in games and win them in ways like the 2017 SECCG or Rose Bowl.

A roster of 5 Star players like Justin "put me in Coach, or muh daddy will be mad" Fields??? Seriously, do we have any empirical evidence that he can throw a football?

And how is Kirby gonna deal with the inevitable raiding of coordinators? Mel Tucker says bye bye...

If he manages it like he "manages" Justin Field's Daddy...well, we shall see...

Terrible comparison, you show numbers but you don't look deeper, numbers aren't the entire story, Mark Richt didn't have to play this dominant of a Bama team twice in his first 3 seasons, and those games were not a national championship, and the SEC championship, Kirby is doing better all things considered.

Both teams had a good run those first three years, correct?

I think Florida will be competitive again soon, but GA looks like heavy favorites for the East for at least a few more years.

And Richt got his doors blown in the 03 SECCG and again in the 2011 game.

Richt got destroyed in his 2nd Title game in a row making him 1-1 at the time.

Kirby took the “best team in CF history” to the woodshed for 3 qtrs with a team made up of 65% freshman and sophomores and 0 AP all Sec 1st team selections. Making him 1-1.

Same record in title games after 3 years. A world apart in program trajectory.
