Except it’s not the same results. Richt never got to the playoffs or a championship. Richt got smashed by bama and saban except for saban’s first year, when richt had more talent, and 2012. So again, in smart’s second year he took UGA to a place it hadn’t been in 30+ years.

Mark Richt didn't exactly walk into a team that was chopped liver talent wise. Jim Donnan was a great recruiter and bad coach.

Except you’ve posted no empirical data. Saying I believe one coach is as good or better than another coach is completely subjective. Sidewalk bama fans are the worst of all bandwagon fans. Well aware of that but only a retard would compare not like results. The only sample size we have right now for the data is the first 3 seasons. We will compare last 3 vs last 3 when Kirby is fired for continuing to choke and not winning a National Championship in about 5 years.

Under the current playoff system yes Mark Richt and Georgia would have been in the playoff in 2002. But, that wasn't the system at the time just like how we can't compare "Mark Richt's last 3 seasons with Kirby's first 3 seasons" it isn't the same.

Why did Georgia not win the SEC East in 2014 and 2015 with Mark Richt, golden child as head coach?
