Recovering from injury.

And the MPA is such an overrated event.

Well I’m not saying he can’t be great, but I don’t agree with that assessment statistically:

Prior to suffering the hand injury, Mateer established himself as a legitimate Heisman Trophy contender while guiding the Sooners to a 4-0 record. The Washington State transfer rushed for at least one touchdown in each of his four starts and threw for 1,215 yards and six touchdowns.

Isn't this list in alphabetical order? Did you expect them to put Manning at the top and then do alphabetical order ;)

My issue with him is that damned side armed delivery that he uses on short to mid routes, he often has no touch, throws too hard, and has a lot of knock downs.

Mateer becomes undisciplined when things get tight.

When invites went out, leavitt was recovering from an injury. He wasn’t sure he would be able to participate. So he declined.

NEW: 2026 Manning Passing Academy Standouts

Jordan Jefferson and Brandon Harris were also standouts when they went to MPA.

Being a standout there means absolutely jack shite.

yall posted the same shite from the academy last year with Mateer.

Did he fix his mechanics or learn how to throw more accurately?

The better question for me has always been, why don’t they hold this thing at OM?

Saints used the facilities as a preseason field for several years so the facility was designed to host camps. When the Saints opted for another location, Archie also happened to be looking cause he had outgrown SELA and he got a good deal.
