I believe 247 just ranks the classes as is. On3 looks at what you lost vs what you gained. Both can be right.

247, been told on3 takes into account who transferred from the program, which has nothing to do with the incoming portal players.

Look at the website design, that should tell you all you need to know. 247 might as well be scout or espn at this point
LSU lost 32 players with an average grade of 71.97. They gained 24 players with an average grade of 73.63. Add in losing Nussmeier who would have graded out as a 4 star and they mostly broke even aside from losing some 3rd string depth that would never see the field
Their fans will say they trust Kiffin’s evaluations as cope, yet the same Kiffin would have had Chambliss on the bench all season if not for an injury

Neither. The only way to get an accurate read on anything is to let the actual season play out.
But who am I to argue against capitalism, so 247 is more reliable because they have Texas highest.
