- Blown away by the stadium. The exterior is the best I've seen in person. The concourses are unreal. The escalators to the upper deck are awesome. The inside itself is huge and up there with Bryant Denny and Tiger Stadium for how nice it looks. Only thing it looks like it was missing was the glassed in luxury box suites maybe? Bryant Denny IMO is the most beautiful on the inside the way they have the luxury suites in each end zone glassed in.

- Thought it was interesting that your fight song is all about Texas. Always thought it was a catchy fight song but never knew the lyrics. I looked up the lyrics afterwards.

- Extremely loud. The speakers in the upper decks really is a nice touch too.

- Wasn't a fan at all of the yell leaders. That's yall's tradition so I guess it feels normal if you grew up going to the games.

- Campus seemed sort of dull compared to some of the other SEC campuses I've been too. Felt more of like a military base than a true campus. Would rank it well behind Athens, Auburn, Knoxville, Tuscaloosa and a few others.

- The lake they're building on the outside of the stadium is going to be really impressive. It'll really make a huge impact on the campus' look.

Almost all of the suites have outside seating as well.

I went in 2019 when Bo Nix tore them apart.

How things can change...

The fans are great. A fan saw me wearing Auburn gear and gave me a parking pass a block away from the fricking stadium for free... at a gas station. When I arrived, I was greeted with free beer and barbeque.

I did not let any gaggie blow me in exchange for any of the items listed above.

Didn't spend too much time in CS, but I really enjoyed my trip. Got to be the friendliest fanbase of any relevant SEC team - AU campus and traditions are better but aTm's were fun to see.... stadium isn't as loud as it should be for its size (the crowd noise is just a different tone in that place...) but I agree the stadium sure is pretty.

Agree with most all that (most love the yell leaders). We call the campus architecture Russian Cold War or words to that effect. Re the words to the War Hymn, the teasip stuff is actually the 2nd verse, which we sing twice.

No one knows the words to the 1st verse.

Glad y'all enjoyed your visit- we take real pride in treating our visiting guests as well as we can. Hopefully you never run into the few idiots im sure are out there out of a 100,000.

I get it has an aesthetic quality within the stadium itself but I never understood going to a college football game to sit in a glorified apartment living room. Done it a few times in a few different venues and the experience just never stacks up to being outside in the midst of the noise and the heat/cold

All that being said, still an obscene tragedy that it is going on 10 years since A&M has joined the SEC and Georgia still hasn’t been scheduled for a trip to College Station (and likely won’t be for a few more years). Would take a full week to road trip around Texas and spend Friday-Sunday in CS if they’d just give us the opportunity

Georgia is (finally) scheduled to play at Kyle Field in 2024, as long as tu and OU don't jack up the schedule.

Hope you enjoyed yourself!
(it’s a must for us that visitors do)
Saw this account shared on an Aggie social media platform, post-game, by a friendly Auburn fan.

Curious why these large stadiums don’t bowl the whole thing in.

Bama and atm have the corners outside visible.

Neyland is full bowl and it seems better to have less outside visible.

The friendliness of the fans before, during, and after the game are a big part of why it isn’t an “intimidating” environment. Good bad or Indifferent, that’s my personal opinion. It can get noisy which will make communication on field difficult.

No, college station and the A&M campus aren’t the most beautiful. That’s mostly due to the geographic region. Out here it is all flat with no seasonal trees. It is what it is. Can’t help that. Some of the newer buildings are nice. There’s not the same type of countryside you find farther East at some in some of your states.

The fans were extremely nice. A lot of people said “welcome to Aggieland” and we got invited to eat at a random tailgate.

If you hadn’t, I’d have been disappointed.
Visiting fans are the best part of cfb.

I troll aggy often. However, I've been to CS many times and been to a few games. Their fan base hasn't learned how to be obnoxious and annoying yet. Everywhere you turn, it's "HOWDY" and smiles. Sure wish someone would flip me off and call me vulgar names damnit.

Most of our campus buildings are plain because we boomed in the '70s and '80s when no one had any money or architectural style.

Up until 1963, it was pretty close to a military base. Students were male and were required to be members of the Corps of Cadets. Gen Earl Rudder, WWII hero who led the Normandy invasion became the President of Texas A&M College (later University).

He made membership in the Corps, optional and allowed women to attend. While enrollment is over 71,000, the Corps of Cadets makes up a little less than 3.000 students. It may appear bigger than that on TV because the cameras tend to focus on them.

Aggies would be disappointed to hear if any one gave a visitor from another school a hard time (unless you are a sip), because we just don't do that. We have our knuckle heads but normally if another Aggie sees them being a jerk, we will break in and stop it.

btw I have been to three SEC football games (Alabama, Auburn and LSU) and only one of those schools tossed a bottle over our heads. The bottle missed but hit a student from his own school in the shoulder. We laughed.

Excellent discription. I have only been once and the fans are almost too friendly. The band is great as they parade before going into the stadium. Stadium is great.

Do you treat Texas fans the same?

And don’t get me started on Hex Rallies and how they light the tower for a win against A&M.

It goes both ways, no matter what they want to tell you.

Yes and no.
We’re not hostile towards them, but they make it exceedingly clear it’s beneath them to be there.
So it’s typically more akin to a strained assembly of exes.

Sorry, that’s just not how we are built and I hope we NEVER do that!!

I completely disagree with the Ag above that said we are not as loud because we are too friendly………what???
You apparently missed what being an Ag is all about!?it’s about rooting for YOUR team, you can still have good sportsmanship and yell loud as hell when your team is on defense!

and yes we are damn loud, not sure wth you are talking about!!

Would that happen to be at the 1990 LSU game in BR??
I asked because I was there and sure enough a few bottles, drink cups came flying down to the visitors area, specially if you were seating near our band! Classy bunch
