Why are you guys so insecure about your wrs? This is about the 10000th version of this same thread

Looked it up, didn't see a single thread like this.

I also don't understand why posting about how similar the top 3 WRs are stat-wise makes me "insecure" ?

If OP would’ve made this thread only about LSUs WRs y’all would've been in here anyway

However, it also makes Tua not as impressive

Throwing accurate, catchable balls and hitting your WRs in stride makes you less impressive...

I've never seen a fan base that is to got damn ignorant to admit other teams have good players.

Does it really have to be said that LSU has a lot of good players on their team? We know how LSU does in recruiting. Why do you need vocal recognition by Bama fans?

learly Burrow isn't A LOT better than Tua, but is he better? Maybe? I think that Tua is more naturally gifted, but that doesn't necessarily make him a better QB.

Its hard to argue that LSU's scheme isn't the best in the nation, with the drastic turnaround from what it was last season, with the same players. Bama's isn't far behind. It could be a mix between Burrow being really good and the scheme being really good, and LSU's WRs just being very fundamentally sound and not dropping balls.

and lets not forget that Tua has missed a game and a half, and the WRs didn't really missed a beat in that time. Would LSU's WRs miss a beat if Burrow was out a game and a half, and they had Brennan throwing the ball to them? I really don't know.

This guy is a legit football fan and understands. Both Qb's are legit along with their wide receivers and schemes. Nothing wrong with comparing the two and giving both teams props on the way they performed. However what Joe Brady did in a year is phenomenal. Last year LSU wideouts dropped a shite ton of well thrown balls and this year with the way Brady trained them with catching 10k balls in the offseason and working on hand eye coordination has these guys catching everything even close to them.

This is going to be a damn good football game with arse loads of talent on both sides of the ball on both teams. And honestly if Burrow got hurt i have no faith in Brennan being near as productive as Mac has for the Tide.

Here is to a great game fellas

That's possibly the dumbest thing I've seen written on this board-and I've seen some pretty stupid statements on this board from all the different fan bases

Ok, then you have to say the same thing about Mac Jones.

Which LSU WR gets on the field over Jeudy, Ruggs, and Smith?

None. You run six wide empty set with Jeudy ,Jefferson, Marshall on one side. Ruggs Chase and Smith on the other.

Only need four lineman with those skill guys.

Mac Jones is good QB and has been for three years. But comparing Mac Jones in backup duty against Arky to Tua is silly.

LSU has been involved in 3 shootouts while Alabama's focus has been on shortening games

But Alabama is ranked 64th in rushing offense and 5th in pass offense. And both teams are right at 50/50 run/pass ratio for the year.

Yea bama fans seem to think our receivers arent near the caliber as theirs

Because they're not.

The Alabama receiver group has been consistently excellent for three seasons now, under three different offenses and offensive coordinators. They've also played on the biggest stages you can play on and they have the been there done that edge.

Last season, the lsu receivers couldn't catch footballs and they have no where near the big game experience they're going to need.

Lsu has good receivers. Alabama has elite receivers. The numbers are lying to you and you'll find that out soon enough.

Jamar Chase starts for Bama because he brings something different to the table than the Bama WR core already has. He's a big physical guy that happens to be really fast a well. He's a future first round pick.

It's insane how close those total stats are.

MArhsall being out three games too... that makes a difference...

Him and Judy are the X Factors here... cause each team has 2 elite CBS and 1 safety... man this is gonna be fun to watch..
